8/25 Reflection

 Today we did our fine tunings on our presentation while Mr.Paterson taught the new kids all about the class. Because I did most of the presentation practice at home, there was not much to do today. But, I noticed that I did not do the flipgrid so I was practicing to do it at home. At the end of the class, Mr. Paterson told us that we did not have to do our presentation on Thursday. Even though I had most of the practice done at home, I was still relieved to know that I had more time to practice. One thing that I still need to practice is to talk louder. Because of COVID, we have to do the presentations with our masks on. As an effect of this, our voices would be more suppressed then it would usually be. Therefore, we have to project our voice more than usual. This is something that I would like to practice in the next class because we have time to do that.

The Corona Virus also known as COVID-9 caused many challenges throughout the semester for students all around the world.  We see a lot of negative aspects that arise in the pandemic includes the stay at home time, or the separated school, and the social distance class. But in our class (LE) some of these problems were not so much devastating as it seemed. For example for the quarantine time, because most of the work was already done online, it didn't seem to feel that different. Some parts like being able to work from home was actually a positive for this class. The only downside I had with this was that we were not able to do group work so it was hard to get assessments of other people. Even when we came to class as only have of us, the most difference I felt was that there were fewer people in the class, and most of the things we did were the same so I didn't feel much of a difference there too.
