9/30 Reflection

In class, we continued to do our presentation and finished the slides and website. One thing I started on was revising the website to sound better and have better grammar. Some parts of the websites had sections where it would be better sentenced in another way so I changed those sentences. The thing that I couldn't help with was the slide because I didn't know what they were doing and most of the slides were already done.

9/10 Reflection

Today we were introduced to a new kind of website in class. It was google sites and Mr. Paterson taught us how to use it and the small details that will make our website better. We will be using this website to upload our information and progress in our current multi-purpose room transformation. We also saw previous people's sites as example. I am interested to see other people's teams and the approach they had with the project.

9/3 Reflection

In class today we learned many things about sourcing. One of the main subject was plagiarism and how it can affect people in negative ways. One thing I learned and was surprised by was how plagiarism is an immense problem in Japan. In American schools plagiarism is taken very seriously and anyone  caught doing so can be kicked out of the school in the worst case. Being in an environment like that it was surprising to see a place where plagiarism is a problem but has just started to teach younger learners about it. Another idea we learned today was crowd sourcing. When we were typing in websites about one subject one problem was that some people found the same website and wrote it down on the sheet. I learned that with this it would be a efficient way to get a vast amount of information about something rather than everyone having the same idea.
